Valentine’s Dance Fun for All!

February was a great month for staff and students at both campuses.  The
Mentor campus hosted our big event, the Valentines Day dance.  It was a hit
with both students and staff!  Both campuses came together to dance, laugh
and celebrate the holiday. There was food, dancing to music from Mr Matt, a
photo booth and smiles everywhere!

Spooky Door Contests

Classrooms at both campuses decorated their doors in the “spirit” of Halloween competing to have the best decorated door.  The creativity and decorating by the students and staff was outstanding!  The overall winner in Bedford was Ms Courtney’s class.  Mentor had three different winners – Ms. Kara’s class won for scariest door.  Ms. Neff’s classroom won the most creative and the students in Room 22 captured the crown of the cutest door.  Congratulations to everyone for some great work on their doors!

Captain’s Reading Day at Classic Park

The students at Re-Ed had the opportunity to participate in the Captain’s Reading Program.  Students completed reading goals and earned a trip to the Captain’s game on May 10.  Everyone enjoyed a beautiful day at the ballpark which was kicked off by the Re-Ed choir singing the national anthem and our very own student Isaiah calling out the traditional “Play Ball” to the crowd.

Valentine’s Day Dance

The students from the Bedford and Mentor campuses came together for a Valentine’s Day Dance on February 17.  The students enjoyed socializing, dancing, photo opportunities and snacks together at the Mentor campus.  It was wonderful seeing the students enjoying each other’s company and dancing to the music from our own Mr Matt!
