AACESS Transition Program

 

Services adults ages 18-22 years

The transition program offers varied and different levels of vocational training, in-house and community based. Students are met at their individual levels with continued growth in all areas.

All students continue to get training in money management, BBS (bodies, boundaries and sexuality), Social Thinking, employability skills, functional living and travel training.

Vocational training is matched to student’s preferences, interests and needs for continued success and is continually being assessed and evaluated to allow for maximum independence and success.

 

 

 

In-house Programs-

  • Run and operate school wide Breakfast Club, Snack Cart, Grab –N- Go Lunch with an annual budget of approximately $4000.
  • Commercial Cleaning
  • Landscaping

 

Community Based Jobs-

  • Grocery Store
  • Local Pizzeria
  • Local Church and offices
  • Local Office Supply
  • Local Jewelry Store
